Exemplifying spiritual excellence, leadership, and empowerment, the purpose of the Linwood Church of Christ Education Ministry is to establish and oversee the curriculum, evangelism literature, and teaching staff of the church and its bible classes. It is to plan, organize, and oversee spiritual education, vacation bible school, general and special classes, teacher meetings, appreciations, and other special bible programs. The church is instructed to do so according to:
Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
